- Desert Rose [ Dry White Wine, 2005, Texas ]

This dry white wine is a blend between Blanc du bois and French Colombard grapes, the marriage between the two creates a haunting musky aroma, reminiscent of overripe cantaloupe.

Food Pairing:
Heavily seasoned chicken, spicy seafood dishes, pasta in cream, French onion soup

Slightly sweet yet zesty white wines with seafoods prepared with slightly sweet, sour, salty, and even spicy-hot sauces and ingredients (since sugar in wine and as a food ingredient brings contrasting balance to spicy, salty or acidic sensations) $25

- Independence Red [ Washington & Austin County Grapes, 2005, Texas ]

Independence Red is made of 100% Chambourcin grapes grown right here in Washington & Austin County. It is a deep purple red with lots of purple hues. It's savory first and foremost on the nose with musky berries. In the mouth there's juicy ripe berries mixing with savory and spice. There's a good depth of flavor, good acidity and a smoky/earthy green peppery finish. It's an interesting medium to full-bodied wine, kind of sweet and bitter all rolled up in one, soft and easy to drink yet with a 'gutsy' structural complexity. The finish is long and spicy and full of sweet yet savory fruit and a nuance of winter herbs like lavender and thyme. $25

Tejas Port is made from the Black Spanish Grape that the Padre's brought over from Spain which was planted and flourished in the wild Texas landscape.

Tejas Port is a traditional Port wine which is a dry dark red, smooth rich mellow style that exhibits hints of chocolate, caramel, dried plums and black currant flavors which is not found in other red wines.

Tejas Port is excellent as an aperitif, or dessert wine.

- Shiraz [ Washington & Austin County Grapes, 2005, Texas ]

This dry red wine is made with 100% Shiraz grapes the flavor reminds you of blackberry, black currant has a spicy black pepper, licorice, clove, thyme aroma. Although cultivated since antiquity, competing claims to the origin of this variety gave credit to it either being transplanted from Persia, near the similarly-titled city of Shiraz or to being a native plant of France.

Barrel ageing provides a aged smooth finish that is so enjoyable. Although cultivated since antiquity, competing claims to the origin of this variety gave credit to it either being transplanted from Persia, near the similarly-titled city of Shiraz or to being a native plant of France. The barrel aging just produces less tanic in the wine.

Texan It is a deep purple red with lots of burgandy hues. It's savory first and foremost on the nose with black berries. This beautiful wine is made from a blend of the triditional Teaxas grapes Muscadine and Wild Musstang grapes. It's robust and easy to drink yet with a interesting' structural complexity. The finish is long and spicy and full of savory fruit and a nuance of winter herbs like lavender and thyme.

- Red Sunset [ Washington & Austin County Grapes, 2005, Texas ]

Red Sunset while similar to cabernet sauvignon, it has a more intense color, slightly more "cabernet" scent our Ruby Cabernet grapes produces a medium bodied red wine with good colour and a pleasant cherry plum flavour. Enjoy its smooth and balanced finish.
Food Paring:
Serve with any type red meat dish or just serve with sharp cheddar cheese

- Yellow Rose [ Washington & Austin County Grapes, 2005, Texas ]


Yellow Rose is a blends between Blanc du Bois and French Colombard. Blanc du Bois grape plant was created in Florida to grow in the warmer regions of North America and is a popular vitis the south. Yellow Rose is blended to produce a less dry wine than the Desert Rose to produce a white wine for all palettes. These are wonderful white wines with the subtle flavors of rose buds and nectarines. The baroque is fruity and slightly sweet. This is not a deep dry wine and has the body of some of the more robust California Chardonnays.
Food Pairing
this wine with a nice blue cheese and sliced pears for an afternoon snack. Then again you can add a bowl of fresh boiled shrimp and seven or eight friends and have a summer solace party. Your call!. $26
